The Net-A-Porter group's menswear site has bought the domain name and client database of French website StudioHomme which has been in administration since May. The French retail site's former clients and subscribers are now effectively part of Mr Porter's client base.

Weak rise in retail sales in July disappoints stores
British retail sales rose in July more slowly than stores had expected, dented by unusually rainy weather, a survey by the Confederation of British Industry showed on Monday.
